DRESS CODE

Listed below are all of the requirements for the dance season. All dancers MUST have these listed requirements in hand no later than October 1st. Dancers will be asked to please bring all shoes to the first class (unworn) so that instructors can insure a proper fit. Please do not sway from this list as different brands/styles will not be accepted in class. These requirements are used as a base in some of our performances and therefore all dancers need to look uniformed and like a team.

New this year Devon School of Dance is working with Johnny Brown who are setting us up a link so that parents can shop online. The link will list of the the requirements for the studio and all products will be shipped directly to your house. The studio will have sample sizes at the front desk for shoes to make it easy to know exactly what to order. Below there are lists of the requirements for each class as well as a sizing chart for tights and bodysuits.

Here is a list of stores in the Edmonton and Surrounding area should you wish to shop in store - it is suggested that you call first to see if they have the requirements in stock as not all stores carry the same brands.

No Street Clothing will be allow in classes at any time, this includes t-shirts, sweat pants etc.

All hair MUST be in a proper classical ballet bun for all ballet classes and in at least a ponytail with

hair off of the face for all other classes.

Future Stars (ages 3, 4, 5) are only required to have hair neatly pulled off of face either with clips or in a ponytail.
